This years Christmas pantomime is ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ written, and directed by Andrew Clark. This show has been based on the book written by Frank L. Baum, adapted to fit our amazing pantomime audience. Andrew has written pantomimes before, so you can be sure that there are lots of moments for you to join in the fun with our characters and it caters for all ages.
All the characters you know and love will be there, as imagined by Frank L. Baum… Well, almost as imagined by Frank L. Baum. You will be in for highs and lows, sad moments and some absolutely foot stomping singalongs! Dorothy will be the one you recognise the most, for she will be appearing in her blue gingham dress, with one major difference. Dorothy’s blonde! There will be some absolutely amazing surprises along the way with our fantastic cast giving it their all!
You’ll meet Munchkins, Aunt Em, Dorothy’s three companions and not to forget the Wicked Witch of the West and, of course, Dorothy herself. With several original songs especially written for this version of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, you are in for a fantastic treat. A truly not to be missed show that is going to burst onto the stage in December. Get ready to laugh, shout, cry, scream and laugh again!
This is our 75th anniversary show and we can’t wait for you all to join us as we celebrate in the best way we can, an amazing production and lots of fun! Just be warned, you may get attacked by a flying monkey!

- Fingers, Monkey 1 and Silly are played by Katie Dagg
- Masher, Monkey 2 and Silly are played by Ruth Drury
- Eric is played by Hayden Careless
- Arthur is played by Alex Salter
- The Wizard is played by Maria Whiting
- Fedora is played by Rosemarie Coetzer
- Our munchkins are Bev Collins and Katie Holland
Much has changed from who you would expect to see people play, and some new faces have also joined the cast!
