Our current production is ‘The Haunted Cabin’ written by Matthew Lynch and will be directed by Jasmine Boddington and Ryan Fannin this time. These two actors are taking their first swing at directing, and have picked a great ghost story to start with! This play will be performed at Doddington Village Hall on May 22nd, 23rd and 24th this year. We have a total of four shows in our summer show.

Hello! My name is Jasmine, and I’m excited to be co-directing The Anglian Players’ next play, ‘The Haunted Cabin’. This play is about a few people who decide to trek up Shantlers Peak but get caught in a snow storm and are forced to take refuge in a cabin which we soon find out to be haunted, with no way to contact anyone, how will they call for help? Come and watch to see if they make it out…
This my first time directing after gaining some acting experience, recently I have played Puss from Puss in Boots in TAPs most recent Christmas pantomime, so I’m super excited to see how this play unfolds in rehearsals, I’m sure it will be a good watch with some spooky elements to keep you on the edge of your seat!
Hi, I’m Ryan and I’m co-directing ‘The Haunted Cabin’. After being a member of The Anglian Players for the last three years, I’m excited to be able to co-direct our next play. I love working with everyone in TAP and am looking forward to working with them on my directorial debut. I’ve learnt a lot about myself as an actor over the last few years, and am excited to try something different and direct.
This play in particular is quite important to me as I was meant to perform it with a previous group before we were closed down due to COVID-19. So I’m glad to be able to see it to completion with a great group of actors involved.

Our social media team will be keeping everyone up to date throughout rehearsals towards the play, so keep an eye out on our social media channels to see what we’re up to and how to get involved or come and watch our shows!
