The preparations for The Wonderful Wizard of Oz have begun, and the Wicked Witch of the West has decreed that nothing shall go forward until she has taken the stage to show everyone how AMAZING she is! So that being said, due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to say that the production of Teddy Bears Picnic has had to be cancelled. All ticket purchases will be refunded so not to worry.

Come and see Dorothy and her three friends in December as they take the stage in a brand new interpretation of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz written and directed by Andrew Clark. The Wicked Witch of the West will take the stage as the villain who goes against Dorothy and her friends. Who will win? We’re going to let you find out the answer during the show!

Who are The Anglian Players?

Well, we’re a diverse group of interesting people with a passion for anything creative. We have singers, actors, artists and many more creative people as members. We welcome anybody to come along to see how things work, to meet new people and to have fun!!

Our amateur dramatic society is based in Fenland, at The Green Welly, with the vast majority of our shows being at Doddington Village Hall.
