The Anglian Players committee is full of talented individuals that have a multitude of ideas and aim to make the society even better than it already is. The society is built upon everyones’ enjoyment and no rehearsal or committee meeting can go without laughter.
We decide things like what the next pantomime will be, the dates for pantomimes and for plays, when rehearsals will be, where they will be and we vote on items as a group. No idea is silly, nothing is a bad idea to bring to the table and we take suggestions from others outside the group as well. It is not just ideas from those in the committee that we take into consideration.
We all absolutely love what we do as a group, and we love new ideas and new people joining.
The President of the society for the 2025 – 2026 year is David Leaning from The Cross Keys in Chatteris. David supports us with promotion and helps with garnering support for our society and we are grateful for everything he does to support us.
Our next AGM date is June 30th 2026 at 7.30pm at The Green Welly in Chatteris. We would love you all to join us and be a part of the group, have your say or even just to sit and get to know what The Anglian Players are all about! We take all opinions into account from everyone who offers feedback. New committee members are welcomed to join at this time.
