Our Christmas in July summer pantomime is well underway. The pantomime has been cast, and everyone is looking forward to doing it! Directed by Lesley Day, this years pantomime is Aladdin/Oz, a cross between Aladdin and The Wizard of Oz in preparation for our Christmas pantomime, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. This year, there are two performances and this event will be held at The Salvation Army in Chatteris. Performance times are 3.30pm and 6pm. Child tickets are £2.50 and adults are £5 each. Tickets are available from The Cross Keys or on the door, and it is cash only to buy these tickets. Come along to support The Anglian Players and Chatteris Christmas Lights, which all money from Christmas in July will go towards.

Along with the summer pantomime, we also have a production for the children called The Teddy Bears Picnic! There are four performances, two on August 30th and two on August 31st. Times are 11am and 2.30pm each day and tickets are only £5 per person! Tickets can be bought from ticketsource by clicking this link, clicking the image above or from The Green Welly in Chatteris.

Who are The Anglian Players?

Well, we’re a diverse group of interesting people with a passion for anything creative. We have singers, actors, artists and many more creative people as members. We welcome anybody to come along to see how things work, to meet new people and to have fun!!

Our amateur dramatic society is based in Fenland, at The Green Welly, with the vast majority of our shows being at Doddington Village Hall.
