Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a part of The Anglian Players? Have you wanted to become a part of the group but you’re not sure how to go about it, or who to talk to?
Well wonder no more! There are many ways that you can get involved with our amateur dramatics group!
In each production, there are different areas that you can get involved in, such as:
- Costumes
- Music
- Props
- Set Design
- Choreography
There is so much more to our productions than those five selections, you can be an actor/actress, a director or anything you want! You do not have to be on stage if you don’t want to be, you can be playing any part backstage if you want!
The biggest way to get involved is to come along to one of our meetings at The Green Welly at 7.30pm on a Tuesday, as you will find out there how you can get involved, what needs to be done, and depending on the day you come along, you might be able to be one of our actors on stage!
We have two different areas of membership at the moment, being a member and being a patron.
If you are a member (£20 per year), you’re entitled to come along to every single meet-up, become a part of our plays, take part in exclusive Anglian Players only events and workshops that we put on and you can join our committee if you wish to!
The patron, is only slightly more money at £30 per year, and you’re entitled to everything a member is, and you get a free ticket to our productions each time we put one on, a free programme and free tea and coffee during the show! You’ll also get access to our newsletter along with access to any workshops we put on during the year!
We’re currently not offering corporate sponsorships, but these may be brought back so hold this space!
